Construction Field Surveyor

S&S Manufacturing is looking for experienced field surveyor for construction sites in New York metropolitan area.
Essential Functions:
o Travel to jobsites on a daily basis o Collect field measurements accurately o Read and interpret blueprints, AutoCad o Use of basic measuring equipment o General knowledge of all NY boroughs
Qualifications:
o Knowledge of construction industry o Demonstrate ability to understand architectural drawings o Basic AutoCad skills o Previous experience in architectural metal, miscellanea iron or storefront preferred o Must possess a current drivers license.
o Maintain an insurable driving record o Must be comfortable on fixed and suspended scaffolding o Must be comfortable working at heightsCompany will provide:
o NYC 40 Hour SST card:
30 Hour OSHA training, 8 Hour fall prevention and 2 Hour drug & alcohol awareness.
o 16 Hour suspended & 4 Hour supported scaffold training o Job safety equipment (helmet, vest, harness)
